Student Council

Our Student Council is made up of representatives from each class level, two staff reps and starting this year a representative from the parent’s association.

The student reps are elected by their classmates and elections are held in the school in October to create a new student council each year. The council work to bring the ideas, concerns and suggestions of the children to the staff and through this process they are having their voices heard. The staff and leadership team give time during meetings to hear the suggestions and ideas and look for ways to bring them to life.

They also meet with the Board of Management during the school year to share ideas and hopes for the year to come.

Democracy and democratic values are a core part of what an Educate Together school is all about. A key part of a democratic school community is its Student Council.
